You received a form from ABMS by e-mail
Someone at a company that uses ABMS, a management system made by Antenor, has sent you a form to fill in. The link in the e-mail opens that one form in your web browser. Fill it in and click Return completed form to sender. You do not need an account, a password or any knowledge of ABMS. The link is personal and works for 14 days from the day it was sent.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Find the e-mail. The subject and the message are written by the person who sent it. Around them, the e-mail gives the sender’s name followed by “has sent this document to you together with this message”, and has a button with the document’s title. Below it is a plain link, after “If the button does not work, paste this link into your browser:”. These fixed texts are in English or Norwegian, depending on the language the sender uses in ABMS; in Norwegian the first one reads “har sendt dette dokumentet til deg sammen med denne meldingen”.
- If the form was sent to several people, each person gets their own link and fills in their own copy.
- Have any files you want to attach ready, for example photos or certificates. Each file can be up to 20 MB.
- Click the button in the e-mail, or paste the plain link into your browser. The form opens, with the sender’s company logo at the top if the company has one.
- To switch language, open the flag menu at the top right and choose “English” or “Norwegian”. Your browser remembers the choice for later forms.
- Fill in the fields. Fields marked with * must be filled in.
- To attach a file, click Add attachment, or drag the file onto the form where it says “Drop files here to upload”. You can remove a file you have added.
- To finish later, click Save and continue later. The page then tells you that the link in your e-mail will remain active for 14 days from when you received it (that is, 14 days from the day the e-mail was sent to you), and shows a Link to form you can use to come back. Return the form within the 14 days.
- When you are done, click Return completed form to sender. The button is disabled, with the tooltip “This button will become active once all required fields are filled in”, until every required field has a value.
What you should see
Section titled “What you should see”After you return the form, a page says “Thank you for processing this document”. The form goes back to the person who sent it, and your link stops working: if you open it again, you see a short page instead of the form.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The link has expired. The link works for 14 days from the day it was sent. After that it shows a short page instead of the form. Contact the person who sent it to you; they may be able to send you the link again. You then get a new e-mail; use the link in the newest one. If the form was sent to several people and you opened your copy but did not return it, your copy, with what you filled in, is deleted once the link has expired.
- The sender sends the form back to you. If the sender rejects what you returned, you get an e-mail with their message and a link to the form. Your link then works again for 14 days. Correct the form and return it again.
- What you see. You see only this form. You do not see comments, other documents or anything else in ABMS, and the link does not give you a login to ABMS.
- Questions about the form. Ask the person who sent it; their name is in the e-mail.
Next step
Section titled “Next step”- If anything about the form is unclear, or the link no longer works, contact the person who sent you the form; their name is in the e-mail.
- For ABMS users who send forms: Send a document to someone outside ABMS
