Send ABMS e-mails from your own domain
E-mails from ABMS normally come from “Antenor BMS (do not reply) <abms@antenor.no>”. They can instead come from an address and sender name of your own, for example “Quality system <qms@yourcompany.com>”. You cannot switch this on yourself: ask Antenor support, have your IT department add the DNS records Antenor gives you to your domain, and Antenor then turns it on for your company.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Decide the sender address, for example qms@yourcompany.com, and the sender name recipients should see.
- Make sure someone in your IT department can change the DNS settings of that domain.
- Contact Antenor support and ask to send ABMS e-mails from your own domain. Give them the sender address and the sender name.
- Antenor support tells you which DNS records to add for the domain. Pass them on to your IT department.
- Your IT department adds the records to the domain’s DNS and tells Antenor support when it is done.
- Antenor checks the domain and turns on the custom sender for your company.
What you should see
Section titled “What you should see”When it is on, e-mails that ABMS sends for your company, such as notifications about documents, comments, actions, subscriptions and exports, show your sender name and address as the sender.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Not a setting under Super. There is no control for the sender address on the Super pages. Antenor sets it up and can turn it off again.
- Password e-mails. E-mails for resetting a password always come from abms@antenor.no.
- Users’ own addresses are separate. This changes only who the e-mails come from. To change the domain of your users’ e-mail addresses, see Company settings: logo and e-mail address policy.
