Edit risk analysis information

Open the analysis’s Information tab, change the analysis information or report, and click Save. This updates the shared information for the analysis, such as its title, scope, facilitator, participants and date. The individual risk elements are in the separate Risk table.

  • Risk management appears in the left menu only if your company has the module and you have at least the Read right on its row. If you don’t see it, contact your user administrator. See The top bar and the left menu.
  • You need the Edit right on the Risk management row. Your user administrator grants it; see Give a user access rights. Without the Edit right, the title, global fields, scope, facilitator, participants and date are disabled, so you can read them but not change them.
  • Find and open the analysis you want to change; see Find and read a risk analysis.
  1. Open the analysis and select Information.
  2. Under Analysis Information, change the Title, the applicable global-field selections or Scope as needed.
  3. Change Facilitator, Participants or Date if needed. Facilitator selects one user; Participants is text, not a user picker.
  4. To change Report, click its pencil to open the report for editing, then change the text. The existing report initially opens in reading mode.
  5. Check the information before saving. Keep a title, and resolve any flagged global-field selections: deactivated selected values prevent saving.
  6. Click Save. See The analysis information form for all fields and save conditions.

The information is refreshed and the page shows success feedback. The report returns to reading mode. Any available history is also refreshed; its control appears only when the analysis has stored history.

  • Save is disabled without a change. The form needs a change to the information or report, a title, and an assigned or selected matrix before you can save. Only the title and the matrix are required; the global fields are optional. Deactivated global-field selections must be resolved.
  • Matrix details. When the analysis already has a matrix, this form shows its name and description rather than a selector. Its risk-type tabs let you read different parts of the matrix; switching tabs does not change the assigned matrix.
  • History. If stored history exists, use the control near Date to expand or collapse earlier facilitator, participants and date values.
  • Report editing. The report’s pencil opens editing when you have the Edit right. Use the form’s Save to keep the changes.
