Create and manage checklist templates

A checklist template is a ready-made list of tasks that anyone can add to an action with Select checklist. To make one, open the checklist templates, click New checklist template, type a name, add the tasks and click Create. The templates are shared by your whole company. You find the same list in three places: Super > Templates (tab Checklist Templates), the Admin tab of a module under Super > Modules, and the Admin tab of the Action Manager.

  • You need the Admin level on the Super area row of your rights; this is what shows the Super menu. All three places where checklist templates are managed are shown only with this level. Your user administrator sets this.
  • Plan the tasks the checklist should contain.
  1. Open the checklist templates in one of these places:
    • Super > Templates, tab Checklist Templates.
    • Super > Modules, a module, tab Admin, section Checklist Templates.
    • Actions in the left menu, tab Admin, section Checklist templates management.
  2. Click New checklist template.
  3. Type the name in the name box (“Enter checklist template name”).
  4. Add the tasks in the checklist editor.
  5. Click Create.
  1. Open the checklist templates as above. Use the filter box to find a template by name.
  2. Click the template in the list.
  3. Change the name or the tasks, and click Save.

To delete a template, click its trash icon in the list.

The template is listed with the other checklist templates in all three places. When someone creates or edits an action, it is offered under Select checklist in the Checklist panel; see The action dialog: every field, panel and button.

  • One list for the whole company. A checklist template is not tied to a module. Changing or deleting it in one place changes it in all three places.
  • Your own checklist. Users who need a one-off checklist can use New checklist in the action instead of a template.
