The Analysis tab and the chart dialog

The Analysis tab in Competency is a personal page of charts. Each user chooses which charts appear on their own page; changing your page does not change anyone else’s. For a walk-through, see Build competency charts (Analysis).

Who sees the tab and what the charts count

Section titled “Who sees the tab and what the charts count”
  • The tab needs the Approve right (or higher) on the Competency row, set by your user administrator.
  • With the Approve right, the tab is greyed out until a responsibility has been assigned to you; see Give managers access to people in Competency.
  • Charts count only active people (end date not passed) whom you can see in Competency: with Approve, the people within your responsibility; with Manage or higher, everyone. The same chart can therefore show different numbers to different users.
