Equipment Management on a phone or narrow screen
Equipment Management switches to a narrow layout when the browser window is narrow, also on a computer. The equipment list does this below 992 pixels of window width, and the equipment page below 1403 pixels, which includes many laptop screens. The width is counted in the browser’s own pixels, so zooming in in the browser makes the window count as narrower, and zooming out as wider. Your rights and the data are the same in both layouts. The share dialog changes by device instead: it has its own buttons on a phone or tablet. For ABMS on a phone in general, see Use ABMS on your phone or tablet.

Your columns, filters and sort order are still saved for you; the narrow layout does not change them, so the wide layout shows your chosen columns again.

The share dialog (Get link to share) on a phone or tablet
Section titled “The share dialog (Get link to share) on a phone or tablet”ABMS decides this from the type of device the browser reports, not from the window width; a tablet whose browser reports itself as a computer gets the dialog as on a computer. On a phone or tablet the QR Code for This Page dialog shows the link and the QR code with one button, Share, instead of Copy and Download; the information icon is not shown.
