This page gives the details of the equipment list in Equipment Management that the main pages leave out: how the list opens and sorts, what the Responsible column shows, what the Excel file contains, the controls of the share dialog, and how an equipment item appears among your favourites. For the toolbar, filters and columns, see The equipment list.
| What |
Detail |
| Browser tab title |
“ABMS - Equipment” on the equipment list. On an equipment page, “ABMS - “ followed by the item’s Internal id/name. |
| Which tab opens |
Equipment Management reopens on the tab you last used, Index or Admin (Admin is shown only with Admin on the Equipment row), in the same browser tab, unless the link you follow opens a specific tab. In a new browser tab it opens on Index. |
| Dropdown fields in a new module |
When Antenor adds Equipment Management for a company, it comes with five dropdown fields: a location for use, a customer, a type of product, a type of maintenance and a supplier. What they are called is your company’s setup. A user with Admin on the Equipment row of the rights table (The Users page and the rights table) can add, rename and delete Equipment’s own dropdown fields; renaming or removing a global field (shown with “(global)” after its name) also needs exactly Admin on the Super area row. See Rights in Equipment Management, action by action and Manage equipment dropdowns and intervals. |
| Rule |
Detail |
| No sort chosen |
Equipment items are listed in the order they were created, oldest first. |
| Equal values |
Equipment items with the same value in the sorted column are listed in the order they were created, oldest first. |
| Empty values |
Equipment items with an empty value in the sorted column come first in ascending order and last in descending order. |
| Internal id/name, Model no, Manufacturer, Serial no |
Alphabetical, regardless of upper and lower case. Digits are compared as text, character by character, so “10” comes before “9”. |
| Dropdown columns |
Alphabetical by the value’s name in your language, regardless of upper and lower case. |
| First notification, Reminder interval (days) |
By number. |
| Purchasing / Start date |
By date. |
| Status |
By next due date; see Find equipment and check when maintenance is due. |
| Moving columns |
Pointing at a column heading shows the tooltip “Drag’n’drop”: drag the heading sideways to move the column. |
| What |
Detail |
| Responsible column |
The full name of the equipment item’s Responsible user. The cell is empty when the item has no Responsible, and also when its Responsible user has been deactivated; the equipment page still shows that user’s name in Responsible. |
| Responsible filter |
Offers the users who can be chosen as Responsible (see Rights in Equipment Management, action by action), so a deactivated user cannot be picked in the filter. |
| What |
Content |
| File name |
equipment.xlsx |
| Sheets |
One sheet, named “Worksheet”. |
| First row |
The column names in bold, as your company has named them, in your language. A dropdown column has the field’s name in your language. |
| Status |
The equipment item’s next due date as a date. The cell is coloured red, green or yellow after the item’s status colour. |
| Purchasing / Start date and Status |
Real date cells, shown as day/month/year, so Excel can sort and filter them as dates. |
| First notification and Reminder interval (days) |
Numbers. |
| Maintenance interval |
The interval’s name with a capital first letter and the rest in lower case. |
| Responsible |
The user’s full name. Empty when the item has no Responsible or the Responsible user has been deactivated. |
| Dropdown columns |
The value’s name in your language. |
Which columns and rows the file contains is described in Export and share the equipment list.
The QR Code for This Page dialog has these controls. On a phone or tablet it has a Share button instead; see Equipment Management on a phone or narrow screen.
| Control |
What it does |

| Information icon |
Tooltip: “You can scan this code using a QR reader on your phone, or by opening it with a compatible camera app.” |
| Copy |

| Download |

| Messages |
The confirmation messages disappear after two seconds. If the QR code is not ready yet, the dialog says “QR code is still loading. Please wait a moment and try again.” |
An equipment item you mark with the star appears in Your favourite documents on the dashboard with these values:

When the equipment item is deleted, it is removed from everyone’s favourites. See Use favourites.
