The bell in the top bar holds four kinds of notification: announcements from Antenor, a notice that someone mentioned you in a comment, a notice of a new comment on a document whose comments you take part in, and a Read & understood request. Each kind is created by a specific event, described below. How to open and read the list is in Read notifications.

| Mentioned in a comment |

“You have been mentioned in a comment. Please follow the link to see it.” |
| New comment |
Someone writes a comment on a document. The notice is created at once, for every comment; the module’s waiting time between comments applies only to the e-mail “Document Chat - New Comment”. |
The other participants of the comments on the document’s current step, except the writer and the people mentioned in that comment, who get the notice above instead. |
“You have an unread comment in the Chatbox. Please click the link to read it.” |
| Read & understood request |
Someone invites you in the Read & understood dialog, or a new revision of a document is published while you had a request on the previous revision. The notification arrives about two minutes later. See The Read & understood dialog. |
Each invited user. When a new revision is published, only users who are still active get a new request. |
“You have been asked to read and accept the contents of the following document:” |
Documents sent to you for approval and actions waiting for you never create a notification; they are counted on the dashboard; see The dashboard.
