Get data from a module, filtered by one value in a drop-down menu
Get data from a module, filtered by one value in a drop-down menu is one of the options in Add subcategory. It creates a system row that counts documents in one module where one choice field has one chosen value, for example “nonconformities in the Production department”. The result is a single row with no sub-rows. It opens from the rows dialog (the cog next to a header in edit mode). You need the Manage right on the KPI row and the Edit right or higher on the scorecard’s row (Rights, years, favourites and Excel export in KPI Scorecard), and the selected year must be the current calendar year.
Fields
Section titled “Fields”The dialog has the same fields as the system row dialog (see System row dialog in a KPI scorecard), except for these:

These fields work as in the system row dialog: Name, Green, Red, Target, Choose module, Module date fields, Status, Documents saved as and, unless the type is Count, Module fields. If the filter field is a global field, its values are managed as described in Add a value to a global field, with or without translation.
OK stays disabled until one value is chosen in Filter on value, in addition to the required fields. Cancel closes without saving.
What the filter does
Section titled “What the filter does”The row counts only documents where the field in Filter on fields has the value chosen in Filter on value. The Status and Documents saved as filters apply as well. The result is one row with no sub-rows and no chevron.
Compare with Get data from module and show all values from a drop-down menu: there, a Drill down column makes one sub-row per selected option, while this option narrows a single row to one value.
After saving
Section titled “After saving”The row appears under its header. Its month cells are filled from documents straight away and are greyed out in edit mode. The values are recalculated every time the scorecard is shown, as described in Calculations and traffic lights in a KPI scorecard.
